Commercial Roofing

DLJ Roofing Contractors LLC offers the following types of commercial roof systems:

Single-Ply Roofing Systems

Single-ply roofing consists of one ply of waterproofing membrane best suite for low-slope applications and for roof tops that do not have a lot of foot traffic.  Our singly-ply roofing systems can be adhered without the need of fasteners that can penetrate the roof deck, can be applied either hot or cold adhesives and still maintain product approvals set by county building departments.  We can also incorporated additional roofing plies to create a hybrid roofing system with even greater durability for more rigorous environments or if there is heavy foot traffic.

Modified Roofing Systems

With a choice of cold or hot application and a range of performance levels, all of which provide exceptional waterproofing protection for your building, DLJ Roofing Contractors uses the best modified bitumen products on the market combined with the advantages of reliable and time tested installation techniques of conventional built up roofing to provide a fully integrated and long lasting roofing system.

We start with a high performance modified bitumen base membrane and we attach it to the roof deck with mechanical fasteners.  The base membrane overlap is sealed with a fast curing adhesive making the lap watertight quickly.  Final surfacing is typically a granule surfaced modified bitumen cap sheet.  We also offer several highly reflective options to meet an owner’s expectation for a high quality roof system

Built-Up Roofing Systems

When you need the durability and exceptional waterproofing capability of a multi-ply built-up roof, DLJ Roofing Contractors uses the best products on the market.  Roofs are composed of either asphalt or coal tar pitch and are assembled on the roof top.  Fibrous glass or organic rag felts are used in the installation.  After the felts have been installed, a surfacing material such as slag or gravel aggregates are set into place.  Surfacing materials protect the membranes and also help protect the roof from UV degradation.

Metal Roofing Systems

Our firm offers standing seam roof systems because of their long lasting feature.

What Standing Seam Means for Roofing

Standing seam metal roofing is a particular type of metal roofing that raises the seams above the level of the roofing itself.

Houses in your neighborhood with metal roofs most likely are of the standing seam variety. Continuous panels run from the ridge of the roof all the way down to the eaves. Between the panels are seams connected by fasteners which are raised above the level of the metal roofing.

This is where we derive the term standing seam, because the seam is raised, or standing, as opposed to flush-mounted. Because seams are always the weak point with any kind of building material, especially roofing, raising the seams above water level is a key advantage.
